I am a woman's size 6.5 - 7. The "universal" sizing of your socks meant that the size Small you recommended is too large (too long in the foot, too long in the leg length, and far too wide in the foot) and the socks bunch up inside my ski boots. It's not very comfortable. Further, the wires that run into the foot part of the right socks have a bumpy part, so rubs against my foot uncomfortably.
